General Flower Care Instructions
When the flowers arrive they will need to be taken out of the box, cut stems on an angle, remove all leaves that will go below water line, and allow them to drink for several hours. Please they are thirsty. They just need a little love and attention and will be get back to a lush, and beautiful state once cared for.
Please Note: Keep flowers in a cool, dark location away from direct sunlight, drafts or excessive heat. Exposing flowers to warm environments (outside, a hot room, etc) will help the flowers bloom, and storing your flowers in a cooler environment will slow down the opening process.
Also, it is important to keep flowers away from fruits, vegetables and/or plants which produce ethylene gas which could cause your flowers to wilt prematurely.
Wedding Flower Care Instructions
Bridal Bouquets/Centerpieces
(1) Remove flowers from box
(2) Remove cellophane wrap
(3) Remove green foam from bottom of stems and rinse thoroughly
(4) Cut stems ¼ inch and place in a container with 1 inch of water
Centerpieces
Most centerpieces are to be placed in the container of your choice. Remove from foam, rinse stems, cut 1” from stems, put in at least 3” of room temperature water.
*Some centerpieces are to remain in plastic container it was shipped in, keep foam moist.
Corsages and Boutonnieres
Place in a covered container, or plastic bag and refrigerate.
Please Note For Bulk Flowers and Wedding Flower Arrangements

Rose Care Tips
Your roses are thirsty and need to drink water for at least 6 hours to perk up. Please follow instructions below and your roses will bloom over the next few days.
(1) Cut approximately 1" off the stems on an angle under running water.
(2) Remove the outside guard petals (5-10 petals). These rugged outer petals were left on to protect your roses during shipment.
(3) Remove any leaves that fall below the water line. Not removing the leaves may cause bacteria to form and shorten the rose’s life.
(4) Fill containers with at least 4" of fresh hot water, add floral food to prevent bacteria from forming and to provide
added nutrients to the roses. If you do not have flower food, it can be purchased at any local florist.
(5) Add to water and allow to hydrate. If you see that some flowers are still drooping after 4 hours, it's possible an air bubble has formed, re-cut the stems following the above directions. Roses may take up to 12 hours to properly hydrate.
(6) For the longest life, keep your roses away from direct sunlight and heat.
(7) Re-Cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 4
Sweetheart Roses Care Tips
Let your Sweetheart Roses drink water for 8 hours to perk up. With proper care, your roses will bloom over the next few days.
(1) Cut 1" off the stems on an angle and remove leaves that fall below the water line.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Remove the outside guard petals. These rugged outer petals were left on to protect your roses during shipment.
(4) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 3.
(5) For the longest life, keep your roses away from direct sunlight and heat.
Hydrangea Care Tips
In addition to the general flower care tips please also note the following care instructions:
(1) Cool temperatures will prolong the hydrangea’s life. You may choose to use a refrigerator, but it is not necessary as long as the flower is placed in a cool location away from sunlight, drafts or excessive heat.
(2) Remove any dark or fading petals. It is normal to find several unattractive dark or fading petals, which can be removed without damaging the flower.
(3) To refresh the flower, dunk the entire flower head in cool water for approximately 20 minutes.
(4) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food after 2-3 days.
Peruvian Lily Care Tips
(also known as - Alstroemeria)
Peruvian Lilies are long-lasting, but dehydrate easily and may look thirsty upon arrival. Let your lilies drink water for about 8 hours to perk up.
(1) Cut approx. 1" off the stems and remove leaves that fall below the water line.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 4.
(4) Keep your Peruvian Lilies away from direct sunlight and heat.
Sunflower Care Tips
Sunflowers have naturally arched necks and look best in a tall narrow vase.
(1) Cut approx. 1" off the stems and remove leaves that fall below the water line.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 4.
(4) Keep your sunflowers away from heat and drafts.
(5) Remove spent leaves to keep bouquet looking fresh longer.
Tulip Care Tips
Tulips continue growing after being cut and naturally bend toward sources of light. Your tulips may already have a gentle arc and tendency to cascade over the edge of the vase.
(1) Cut 2 cm off the stems and remove the leaves below the water line.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 2.
(4) Keep tulips out of sunlight and heat.
Iris Care Tips
(1) Cut 3 cm off the stems.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 3.
(4) Keep your iris away from direct sunlight, heat and drafts.
Asiatic and Oriental Lily Care Tips
Let your lilies drink water for 8 hours to perk up. With proper care, your lilies will bloom over the next few days.
(1) Cut 3 cm off the stems and remove leaves that fall below the water line.
(2) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(3) Re-cut stems, change water and add second packet of flower food on day 3.
(4) Keep your lilies away from direct sunlight, heat and drafts.
Gerbera Daisy Care Tips
(1) Remove the plastic cups but leave the straws on the stems for a longer vase life. Allow them to drink for 8-12 hours to perk up. Leave the tubes on the stems until ready to arrange. The tubes prevent the stems from bending. Be sure to position each tube at the uppermost part of the stem, near the flower’s head.
(2) Cut approx 1-2"off of the stems.
(3) Fill vase with water and add 1 packet of flower food.
(4) Gerbera stems have a tendency to get blocked with bacteria which causes flowers to wilt prematurely. To prevent premature wilting, make sure to change water every 12 hours
(5) If flower necks have started to bend/sag then re-cut stems and place in fresh water with flower food
(6) Always keep flowers away from extreme heat, drafts and direct sunlight
